What to know about moving in Phoenix
Phoenix moves are about heat and distance. From June through September the afternoon runs 105 to 115 degrees, so we start the biggest moves at 6 or 7 in the morning and keep the crew in shade and water; a move that starts at noon costs more hours and risks your belongings and our people. Monsoon storms from July through September can stop loading for an hour, so we watch the radar. The Valley is wide: Ahwatukee to Desert Ridge is a 40-minute drive on the 101 or the 51, so we quote both addresses and drive time. Is there anything your movers won't move?
Especially heavy or bulky safes and pianos are best left to movers who specialize in those items. Keyboards, obviously, aren't an issue. Gun safes and firearms are best left to you. Contractually, our movers won't touch them.
