Baltimore is a rowhouse city, and that shapes every move. Federal Hill, Canton, Fells Point, and Hampden have narrow streets, permit parking, and alley access, so a smaller truck, a reserved curb spot, and an extra mover for the stairs beat a 26-footer that cannot get close. Many rowhouses have steep, narrow stairs and tight turns, so tell us about large furniture before move day. Harbor East and the Inner Harbor towers run on freight elevators and Certificates of Insurance, and the Johns Hopkins and Loyola calendars push demand in late August. I-83 and the 695 beltway back up hard at rush hour, and winter ice on the hills is real, so we book early starts from December through February.

Is there anything your movers won't move?
Especially heavy or bulky safes and pianos are best left to movers who specialize in those items. Keyboards, obviously, aren't an issue. Gun safes and firearms are best left to you. Contractually, our movers won't touch them.
