From lease signing to first night settled

Signing day
Reserve your freight elevator slot. Contact your leasing office.
2 weeks out
Book your Undergrads crew. $5 locks your date — pay after the move.
1 week out
Reserve your moving truck. Recommended: 15-ft for 1BR, 20-ft for 2BR+. U-Haul Moving & Storage of Downtown Phoenix, 410 S 2nd St (about 1 mile).
3 days out
Set up electricity and internet before move day so you are live when you arrive.
Move day
Truck parks: The Stewart is on Central Ave at Roosevelt with the light rail out front, so the truck cannot stop on Central. Stage from the garage or the side street and confirm a window with the office. In summer, book the earliest slot the office offers.. Your crew handles all loading and unloading. You drive.
Day after
Return the truck. Unbox the essentials. You are home.

Reserve the elevator with the office ahead of your date and ask which entrance the crew should use; Central Ave is light-rail only
Ask about the Certificate of Insurance requirement when you give notice. Undergrads emails a COI to building management at no extra cost
From June through September, start at the first window of the day. Nothing electronic rides in a closed truck in the afternoon heat
