Finished ahead of time, handled pieces with care
“I used three movers, Rashawn, Kiyon and Shane who arrived on time, where ready to start working, exhibit a good relationship atmosphere with lot of teamwork. Finished ahead of time, handled pieces with care, follow instructions and we're always willing to work as planned. I will definitely used the company for my next move.”

THE POWER MOVE
Our Ponte Vedra movers do the heavy lifting
You just rent the truck
U-Haul has 23,000+ locations across the US, and most customers in Ponte Vedra are within 5 miles of one. Any truck up to 26 foot runs on a standard driver's license, with no CDL or commercial license required.
What driving one actually feels like
- You sit higher than any SUV. You can see the full road ahead and every lane.
- No minimum speed. Go 45 mph the whole way. Take every exit slowly. No one cares.
- You'll need one new skill: turn wide at intersections. Otherwise, it's pretty simple.
- Pick up on your phone via U-Haul's Truck Share 24/7, with no counter, no paperwork, no wait.
“I was genuinely scared, until I started driving it. Just slow down, take the foot off the gas before going downhill, brake slowly, don't hug the curb while turning.” From a first-time mover.

Ponte Vedra movers that show up on time
Or $50 off your move
Thousands of customers have trusted us with their move. Yours can be next.
A lot of moves gone wrong start the same way: the moving company cancels that morning, the moving crew shows up two hours late, or the moving company inflates your bill with hidden charges. We designed this guarantee so our customers don't have to deal with that.
This is our actual policy. When you choose Undergrads Moving, you get movers that show up on time and ready to work. If one of your movers arrives late, let us know and we'll take $50 off your moving bill.
We make move day easy. You point us at the things that need moving, and our local Ponte Vedra movers get to work until you're completely satisfied.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
What to know about moving in Ponte Vedra
Ponte Vedra Beach and the Ponte Vedra communities south of it are gated almost without exception: Sawgrass, Marsh Landing, Plantation at Ponte Vedra, and the Nocatee villages all need the truck and crew on the gate list ahead of time, and most HOAs set move hours. Lots are big and driveways are long, so the carry is the time cost, not the parking. A1A and Palm Valley Road are the only ways through, and Players Championship week in March closes half of them, so tell us your date and we will check it.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked about Ponte Vedra moves
How much does it cost to move in Ponte Vedra?
Every move is priced by the hour. The rate is locked before we start, with no stair fees, fuel surcharges, or hidden add-ons. Two movers run $112 per hour, and most moves run $200–$350 total for a 2-person crew over 2 to 3 hours. Larger homes that need a third mover or more hours run higher, with the rate locked before we start. Truck rental is separate if you need one. If we finish early, you pay less.
Do I need to provide a truck?
We're labor-only movers. You rent the truck from U-Haul, Penske, or Budget. We handle all the loading, unloading, and heavy lifting. We'll tell you the exact size to get and can book it for you if you want.
Is there anything your movers won't move?
Especially heavy or bulky safes and pianos are best left to movers who specialize in those items. Keyboards, obviously, aren't an issue. Gun safes and firearms are best left to you. Contractually, our movers won't touch them.
What's the Show-Up Guarantee?
We're confident enough in our show rate to put $50 behind every booking. We've completed 140+ moves in Ponte Vedra. If a mover arrives 30 minutes after the scheduled start, let us know and we'll knock $50 off your final bill.
Are your movers background-checked?
Yes. Every Undergrads mover is a background-checked university student. They work under their real names, connected to their university email.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Undergrads is a fully licensed and insured moving company in every market we serve, including Ponte Vedra. Every move includes $1,000 in damage protection. If you're moving into a high-rise or building that requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI), contact us. We handle COI requests before move day.
What neighborhoods in Ponte Vedra do you serve?
We serve all areas of Ponte Vedra including Sawgrass, Marsh Landing, Plantation at Ponte Vedra, Palm Valley, and more. If you're anywhere in the Ponte Vedra metro area, we can likely help. Call (904) 906-5417 if you're unsure.
How quickly can you schedule a move?
Same-week scheduling is available in Ponte Vedra most of the year. Weekend dates in peak season (May–September) fill fast; book early if you have a fixed date. We're available 7 days a week.
Can I cancel or reschedule my move?
Yes. Cancellation is free 48 hours before your move, and rescheduling costs nothing with the same notice. The $5 reservation simply holds your date; you pay for the move after it happens.
