Signing day
Reserve your elevator slot. Contact your leasing office.
2 weeks out
Book your Undergrads crew. $5 locks your date — pay after the move.
1 week out
Reserve your moving truck. Recommended: 15-ft for 1BR, 20-ft for 2BR+. U-Haul Moving & Storage at Capital Blvd, 3001 Capital Blvd (about 3 miles).
3 days out
Set up your utilities: electric, internet, renter's insurance.
Move day
Truck parks: Covered parking is built into the building, and the main entrance has a porte cochere (a covered drive-up entrance) off Six Forks Rd. Ask the office whether the truck can load there or where else to stage.. Your crew handles all loading and unloading. You drive.
Day after
Return the truck. Unbox the essentials. You are home.
