the same care that they would if our possessions were theirs
“William and Samuel were great—A1. They handled everything with the same care that they would if our possessions were theirs. They were tireless and even helped us strategize how to pack the pod to reduce the risk of damage. We used Undergrads Moving last year and our experience was just as great this time.”

great value for what we needed
“Kaamil and Will were solid! We reached out with a labour-only request as I needed help unloading a 16ft container from PODS into our new home. I was very happy that they were able to get it done in just under two hours, especially considering we got one of the hottest days in the NC heat. The team at Undergrads was quick to respond to my request for a quote, and I was very happy that they could reserve a spot for us in under 48 hours. It was great value for what we needed in a pretty straightforward move, and would happily recommend them accordingly”

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
What to know about moving in Forest Hills
Forest Hills is one of Durham's grand historic districts, a 1920s-1930s neighborhood of stately homes on curving, tree-lined streets around Forest Hills Park, just southwest of downtown Durham and Duke's East Campus. The older homes here often have narrow driveways, on-street parking, and original staircases, so an early start and the right truck size keep the day moving. As a designated historic district, many properties are larger single-family homes, and a few carry HOA or historic-overlay rules worth checking before move day.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked about Forest Hills moves
How much does it cost to move in Forest Hills?
Every move is priced by the hour. The rate is locked before we start, with no stair fees, fuel surcharges, or hidden add-ons. Two movers run $112 per hour, and most moves run $200–$350 total for a 2-person crew over 2 to 3 hours. Larger homes that need a third mover or more hours run higher, with the rate locked before we start. Truck rental is separate if you need one. If we finish early, you pay less.
Do I need to provide a truck?
