During times like this, we take extra precaution to minimize the risk of you and our movers contracting coronavirus. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities.

Safety first, then teamwork

As an ESSENTIAL BUSINESS we remain OPEN and operational to support our customers.  We ensure the safety of our movers and our customers through a three step process.

Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to wear masks and gloves for liability purposes while on the job.  We have instructed our movers to keep their distance from the customers and hope that you do the same. 

We do not want to get you sick, and we do not want you to get us sick.  We will fight this as a team while getting you moved as pleasantly as possible during these hard times.

ZERO CONTACT MOVING

Our movers are instructed not to have any physical contact with the customer, while keeping their distance during the move.  

Wipe down before & after

We recommend our customers wipe down their surfaces before the movers arrive, and when the movers depart.

Close monitoring

We monitor our movers health and their close circles health daily, and they are to report if they feel anything less than 100%.

Zero contact moving

We strictly enforce a zero contact policy with all customers. We understand this may seem rude and over the top, but our customers health and our movers health is a top priority.

From start to finish, you do not have to come into contact with the movers.  This minimizes the risk of spreading any germs from handshakes or high-fives.

Furniture disinfectant before and after moving

Wipe down furniture before & after moving

We highly recommend that each customer wipes down their hard surface furniture before  and after their move.  This will help minimize germs that could get the movers sick, that would pass on to other customers.  It also minimizes germs that could be left on your furniture after the move.  By fighting this together, we can ensure each customer is as safe as possible.  

The best way to wipe down furniture is with a disinfectant cleaning spray or with a homemade disinfectant comprising a 2-to-1 ratio of 60 to 90 percent rubbing isopropyl alcohol to water.

Healthy movers, to provide a safe moving experience

With a zero tolerance policy to our movers having anything less than 100% health, we can help ensure the safety of our customers.  Our movers are under strict quarantine as the health and safety of our customers relies on them. 

If a mover feels anything less than 100%, they are instructed to contact us immediately so they can be on a 2 week quarantine and replaced on jobs.  If a mover has any family members or close friends with COVID-19 symptoms, they are to go under a 2 week quarantine before returning to work.

Frequently asked questions

Unfortunately, with the nature of our business, we are unable to provide and request the movers to wear gloves and masks while conducting moving work.  We do allow the customer to provide the movers with masks and gloves if the movers find that they can move the belongings safely while wearing them.

We have a 2 hour and 2 Undergrad minimum on all moves.  

We DO NOT provide nor drive the moving vehicle.  To easily find a moving vehicle in your area, access our truck finder.

What we DO provide:

  • Shrink wrap to secure your blankets in place
  • Tie-downs to secure your belongings (local multi-location moves only)

What we DO NOT provide:

  • Moving blankets (these are highly encouraged and can be rented from your truck provider)
  • Tie-downs for “load only” moves. We recommend using ratchet straps or rope.
  • Dollies (these can be rented from your truck provider)
  • Tools for assembly or disassembly

We operate in all surrounding areas within about an hour of our service locations in Clemson, Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston, SC as well as Charlotte, NC.

*$20 per Undergrad driving fee for any moves 30+ miles outside of the service location address.

We accept all major credit cards at the conclusion of your move. We do NOT accept cash or checks.
